 #The Refrain Within #  by  Liz Tolsma  is  the third in the Music of Hope  series. Liz Tolsma   has been the finalist for the Selah and Carol awards. This book is beautifully written .  It takes place during World War II.  The book is  fast moving and   once you start the book it is hard to   put it down until the last page. The emotional difficulties   are clearly   explained in this book.   The characters are caught off guard  when  World War II starts hoping   their lives will not be disrupted.  Eva is a musician and hopes to continue her   music lessons.  She is  disrupted when  Nazi  military men  show up  to turn   her life and others   there apart.  The book takes place in Hungary. The characters  draw  close to God when  they  face the  trials of World War II.  The  book is  well researched and shows the  reader the struggles and intense difficulties during World War II.  Thank you  to  netgalley, the publisher, and the author for allowing me to read and review this well writt

 Why  Is  That  In the Bible?  by  Eric J.  Bargerhuff is a Christian living book. Dr. l Eric Bargerhuff is a professor of Bible and theology and the associate dean of academic  affairs at  Trinity  College of Florida..  He was a pastor  for twenty years in   Ohio, Illinois and Florida..  He  received his doctorate in biblical  and systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  This  book  is a helpful tool for any pastor   or  any Christian.   He   explains and  interprets a verse in each chapter.   He  writes  about   verses  people  to do understand the meaning or the reason    the  event , situation or decision  took place. This book is a wonderful Christian living book.  Greg  earned his  doctoral  clinical psychology degree from Rosemead School of Psychology  at Biola   in  Southern California. He has  two Masters  degrees in counseling from Denver   Seminary and Clinical Psychology at   Rosemead School of Psychology.  He is president of the Smalley Marriage Institute in Branson, Missouri. He is also chairman of the board at the National Marriage Association. #Becoming Elizabeth Elliot#   by Ellen Vaughn  is a Christian   biography.    Ellen Vaughn  is a former vice president of executive communications at Prison Fellowship. She speaks at  conferences and interviews people in the most hostile parts of the world.   She is  currently on the board of  directors for ICM, the global  church developer.  She is  respected  in the Christian world.   Elizabeth Elliot  has  written lots of well known books. She   was a missionary.  She  went to Wheaton College. She   looked up to Amy  Carmichael.  Her daily focus   was  to live   a life that is pleasing to  the Lord.  She   was raised learning about missionaries. She  and her husband  sacrificed their lives  working with   the unreached people  group  the Waodani  people in Ecuador.   They  translated the Bible in their  language.  This people group is  known for  not  wanting   outsiders in their area and killing intruders.   This  book is personable and  very inspiring.   The  author has  included

 #You are Never Alone# by  Max  Lucado is a Christian living book. Max is a Senior Pastor at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio , Texas.   He  is a best selling author. He has  been writing for two decades. This book is  practical and helpful .  Max  shares about the principal  He is writing about and  shares an example  about  someone   related to   what He is sharing about.   The  personal stories are meaningful. He   helps us see   what God's character is  like and how He can meet our needs.  He  reminds us of His love for us and  how He will walk us through our storms.  This book is really needed  now during the   difficult  times  many are going through.    This   book was given to me for review purposes and the opinions are my own.  Thank you to the publisher, author and netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

He  means: What  do you believe  about God?, What do you think God wants from you, Do you have a faith, what religion did your parents raise you  with, do you pray , what is the best thing about being a Muslim, What do people get wrong about Islam.   He  suggests you  start having coffee with the person. He also  suggests  sharing Bible stories that relate to what  the person is going   through. We  need to become a  chaplain in our world .  We   need to  give them reasons  that promote  belief. Why do  we see things differently?   It is good to engage   with the people and meet  the people where  they are. What  would it take for you to trust  me or Jesus or the Bible?  #The Edge of Belonging# by  Amanda Cox  is a Women's   Christian fiction book.  Amanda is a blogger and curriculum  developer for a national  nonprofit youth leadership organization.  She has a bachelor's in  Bible and Theology and a Master's in  counseling. She has  had a decade of counseling.   This  book is the author's  debut  novel.   It is outstanding and  well written. The  characters are well developed and  the reader will   be drawn to their  weaknesses and struggles in their lives.   The struggles and weaknesses make the characters more real .  The themes are abandonment, loss, self sacrifice, unconditional  love.    Pearl is a  character I  admired.  She  cared for many people in the  story.  She extended herself  beyond  what many people do.  She  reached out to  a homeless man, took care of a baby , supported the   local minister and his wife,  volunteered for a local  nonprofit organization that  helped   hurting people. It is a hard time to find  employment.    The main  characters parents lost their home. Stone Wall by Beverly Lewis

 # The Stone Wall  #  by  Beverly Lewis is an Amish Christian  fiction book.   Beverly is a best selling author and  has  written many  books. Some of her  books have become movies.   Stone Wall is  set in Strasburg.  , Pennsylvania.. Strasburg is  an Amish town which has  Old Amish  roots.  The Old Amish  were more traditional and did not use electricity  or  drive cars.  Anna the  main character  is kind and caring. This book is the  3rd in the  Codebreakers  series.  It  takes place during World War I.  It is  a tense time.  There   are cryptographers and   work in the intelligence division.  They   decode messages from the enemy.   Lily Backwell  retouches and creates  pictures  .She works at the intelligence division.  She also works at the hospital.  There is terrible pandemic  that  occurs  during this time.  Lily sees  many people die from this  bad flu.   It is heart  breaking for her to   see many people die.  The story takes place in England. This story is well researched and give the reader an idea of   what   life was  like during World War  I.  The characters , setting are  sell described.  #The Light at Wyndcliff# by  Sarah Ladd  is   a Regency romance .  The  book is  part of the Cornwall series.   and is written in 1820.   Cornwall is in the  coast in England.  It is  beautiful and set in a cove.  There are ship wrecks and  other  unknown things  that occur there.   Wyndcliff estate is  there in the cove.  It is a relaxing  place from the busy city life.  The themes in the  book are  good vs  evil,  forgiveness, self sacrifice.  The book is well written. The  character, setting   descriptions are detailed and easy to follow.   The  setting takes the reader to Cornwall wanting to experience the  beautiful cove. In Cornwall   in the cove  you can dig for  china clay  and   find ships there. Karen Kingsbury  is a  best selling author.  Her   Baxter series books are going to be made into  a TV  show.  She teaches writing at Liberty  University. She and her  husband  adopted  3  boys  from  Haiti in 2001.  #Truly, Madly,Deeply#  is   in the Baxter  family series.   Tommy  is  part of the Baxter family.  Tommy   heard about  his  grandfather  who  died on the   .2011 bombings. He  never met him but  knew he sacrificed his life for  others.  Tommy    decided  He  wanted to be a policeman and sacrifice his life for others.   He   went on drive by  car  trips with other cops to experience the job.   He  developed a  real strong desire to help make  a difference in the world.  The characters are well described.  The   struggles and trials the characters experience are   very real in our world. The author has a beautiful way of bringing  scripture into the trials  the characters face.  The story is moving
