 #World Changers#  by  Greg Laurie is a nonfiction Christian book.  Greg Laurie is a Senior pastor  of Harvest  Christian Fellowship.   Harvest Christian Fellowship is in  California and Hawaii. He  became a pastor  when He was  19 years old.   He is also an author.   He wants to  disciple  Christians and teach ,them that   they can change our world.  He   writes about  different people that have changed the world in the Bible . He   talked about   the character and   then   shows how we can apply what  we learned about the character to our life and   in the end change our world. The  book is written in a personal style and is  very  well written.  It is a  good resource for a pastor for sermons, for any Christian.   Thank you to netgalley, the author, the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book  It is well written and a helpful resource.  I  will share my review with  facebook , Amazon, bookbub, CBD.com , Books a million, my blog and with church staff.

 #Kids  off the Block #  by Diane Latiker  is a true  story.  #Kids off the Block# is an inspirational  nonfiction Christian story. #  Kids off the Block# is  a nonprofit organization started by Diane Latiker. This organization is in a  troubled  Chicago neighborhood.  There are many gangs and troubled kids in that neighborhood.  She  opened her home to  influence and help these kids be successful and  not  go down the way of the gangs.  The  kids  did  their homework with her . They  shared  their   troubles  with her.  She  fed them.   She  became very close to so many of these kids.  Many of the kids were involved in  gun violence  and drugs.  She  helped more than 3,000 at  risk kids.  This story is so very inspiring.  She  felt  God  called her to  help  these kids and set up  this nonprofit organization. Waging Peace by Diane Oestreich

  Waging Peace is written by Diane Oestreich is a wonderful non fiction Christian book. Diana Oestreich, was a combat medic in the Army National Guard, and was stationed in Iraq. She was placed in situations to question what her values and ethics were. She was told to run over an Iraq child to keep her convoy and battle buddies safe. She did not agree with this. She crossed the boundaries and befriended and Iraq family. After she was home she continued to live ways to be peaceful in difficult situations. She attend racial marches with her children. She continued to show love and peace by going the extra mile for others. This book is well written, inspiring and needed in our day and age. I was given this book to read and review by the author. I commend her for a well written book. I hope the book is successful.

Women Who Risk by Tom and Jo Ann Doyle

 Women Who Risk#  by  Tom  Doyle and  Jo Ann Doyle  is a nonfiction Christian book.  Tom is an author and pastor .  He  has  been a pastor in the Middle East for   25 years.   His wife  also  helped write this book.   This book is  has  gripping ,  heart bending accounts  of  women in the Middle East who have become  Christians  after being Muslim.   The  stories are so moving. The  reader will have a hard time putting the book.  This  women  have faced so many challenges by  being married to  a Muslim  but  now   they  risk  being  killed for their  faith. So  many stories like these  are  really not openly shared.  Tom and  Jo Ann have   been so kind for 25 years  sacrificing and helping    the    unreached people  for Christ  in these difficult areas.   The  transformation in these  women after  coming to Christ is very  dramatic.    They are often  threatened  by  their families and other people in the  Muslim  community after becoming a Christian. .   Snow on the Tulips by Liz Tolsma is a World War II historical fiction book. Liz has written lots of books about historical fiction and was a double award winner on her first book she wrote. She likes to read, write , edit and research. World War II is almost finished. There is still so much at stake for those in Europe. Those in the Dutch Resistance do all they can to help the people that could be in danger to the Nazis. The Dutch Resistance group risk their own lives in many amazing ways. There are several people in the Dutch Resistance in the book that go above and beyond for those in need to protect and help them . The book is fast paced, romantic, historical and emotionally touching. It becomes very hard to put down.  #Seeing  Jesus from  the East#  by  Ravi  Zacharias and Abdu Murray is a nonfiction Christian  book. Ravi   became a  Christian at the age of 17.     At  71  He  was  still  speaking,  preaching, teaching about  Jesus and specifically apologetics    .  He  passed away  in 2020 and will be remembered by  many. He  started a ministry  RZIM  in 1984. Fragments of Light by Michele Phoenix

# Fragments of Light#  by  Michele Phoenix  is a historical fiction book. This   book is a masterpiece and so hard to put down. Michele grew up in France.  She is an educator, writer and speaker. She  taught  for 20 years  in Germany .  The  story is a time split between  Cal who  was  a paratrooper  on D day  on June 6, 1944.   and  Cecile   a breast cancer survivor  75 years later.  The reader will feel like they have walked through the  shoes of a D  Day  survivor after reading the book.   The beginning  of the  book  the reader will find Cal  and  the injuries of D Day.   At the end of the book the    veterans  share their memories of D Day and  the  visitors   go to  a D Day  exhibit. and demonstration and meet  survivors in France.  The  story is so beautifully researched and written.   Cal is a brave and determined character.    Cecile   goes through the trials of breast cancer in all its forms.  She is brave and she endures  so much loss  and continues to  move forward.   It is

  Almost A Bride # by Jody Hedlund is the 4th in The Bride Ship series. Jody has written over 30 historical fiction books for adults and teens. She is a best selling author and has won the Carol, Christy and Christian book awards. Kate Millington , went on the Bride Ship to British Colombia. She went to a mining town in Williamsville to marry her fiance. She is a honest, and has integrity. She has high standards. She wants God to be first in her life. She also wants her fiance to have God first in their life. She will not settle for someone who does not have these standards. I commend her for standing up for her principles and putting God first in her life. She is a beautiful character. The characters and settings are well described. This book was given to me by the author to read and review. This book is well written and I would recommend this book. Thank you to Jody Hedlund for allowing me to read and review this book.

The author then gives a devotional reading. The author applies the passage to prayer. There is also room to journal. personal thoughts and reflections. This book is good for a personal quiet time. Colin is a Senior pastor   at the Orchard in  Northwest Chicago.  This  church's  goal is  to equip  believers   to  run and expand the gospel.   This book gives a good over view of the Bible.  It is easy to read and a helpful resource for the Christian.   or a pastor.  The book is  broken up into ten keys and several topics.   I was given this book to read and review  by the author, netgalley and the publisher.  #London Restoration# is a historical fiction novel by Rachel McMillan.  This book takes place  during post  World War II in  1945 in London..  Diana Somerville is the main character. She is an architectural historian .  She is also  a codebreaker at Bletchley Park .  She  has  studied  and enjoyed the churches in London for  years.  After all the  bombing  and turmoil of World War II ,  the churches have a lot of  damage.   She is heart broken to  see the damage and hopes to get the churches  restored.  After the war there is  so much change and  it is hard to  get everything back to where it was before.   The themes in the story  are:  lying,  treason,  honesty vs dishonesty,  secrets, post traumatic stress,, change in the world and in the characters, romance..    This book is well written.   .  This book gives the reader insight into  what life was like after World  War II.
