"Memories of Glass "  by Melanie  Dobson is an historical fiction book  that  takes place during World War II  in  Amsterdam,Holland.   This  book unfolds  the  difficult  memories of World War II .  The people in Holland  are  in shock when the Germans  enter their  cities. There is a theatre in Amsterdam  that  the Jews are  transported to before  they are  taken to the labor camps.  Josie van Rees and Eliese Linden are friends and work together to   get the  Jewish  children   out of the   path of being transported  to the labor  camps.  They  hide the children  but is  a risky  and dangerous   work. They  do everything possible to prevent these children from  entering the labor camps.  It is so difficult to hide the   children because the Germans are   fighting for their  cause to kill the Jewish people.  Their work is considered a resistance movement  against what the Nazis are   trying  to accomplish. Review of The Medallion by Cathy Gohlke is a World War 11 dynamic historical fiction book. The book goes back and forth between two couples who are deeply affected by the War. The book takes place in Warsaw , Poland . The town is in a turmoil since the Germans have taken it over. Sophie Kumiega, a British bride working in the city’s library misses her husband Janek who was deployed for the Polish forces. . She waited patiently for him to come home. She was torn by the horrible injustices she saw towards the Jewish people. She saw people pulled from their homes and regulations put on them.The second couple is Rosa and Itzhak Dunovich. Rosa's husband gave her a medallion when they got married. She is pregnant and struggled with the fact that their child would grow up in the Jewish ghetto. Review for Core 52 by Mark E. Moore a Fifteen Minute daily guide to build your Bible IQ in a year Mark is a teaching pastor at Christ's Church of the Valley. in Phoenix, Arizona. He spent two decades teaching New Testament as a professor at Ozark Christian College. This book is a 15 minute plan to learn the Bible. It covers 52 topics with a weekly plan. It starts out with a question, then an article which includes more questions. At the end of the chapte r there are key points. There is a box after the key questions with a plan for each day for the week. The articles are well written and gives the reader a deeper understanding of key topics in the Christian life. The book is a great way to grow as a Christian. There are Bible passages in the daily assignments. This is a great resource for Christians. This book was given to me by Waterbrookmultnomah publisher and I am not obligated to give a positive review.

Yours Truly Thomas " is written by Rachel Fordham. Is is a romantic fiction book. The story takes place in 1883. Penny works at the Dead Letter office and reads mail that is sent . She had some attachment to some letters that came from Thomas and were written to Clara. The stories expressed how much He loved her and then Thomas stated that she died. Penny decided to write Penny back. Penny did not know him. In the meantime Thomas left for th e west to start a new life. He ended up on Azure Springs., Iowa . Penny decided to go to Iowa after losing her Dad and she needed a fresh start. Azure Springs is a small and personable town. Penny stayed in a boarding house run by Margaret. Margaret goes the extra mile to make sure her guests are cared for and relaxed. Penny treasured the way love was expressed in letters at that time. "Until the Mountains Fall"  is by Connilyn Cossette.   This  book is a Biblical fiction book  and is  so  well  written.   It is the  third book in the City of Refuge  series.   Rivkah lives in the City of Refuge  called Kedesh.  Her husband  died and according to the Torah  she has to marry  her husband's  brother.  She   was not   comfortable with her husband's  brother and   resisted  any possibility of  marrying him.   She   yearned for her freedom and wanted  to leave Kedesh so  she  would not have to marry her husband's brother. She  felt   tremendous  pressure from her family to follow of the  Torah  but she  did not want to do as  she was told to do. Malachi  , her husband's  brother  loved   Rivkah  for years and was happy to  have the opportunity to marry  Rivkah.   Rivkah  left  Kadesh  in the middle of the night so she  could not   be stopped and  ended up in    a foreign ,  worldly  land.  She   became a scribe to  support herself.  She  was her
