" Mountains of Grace"  by  Kelly Irvin is  an Amish fiction story.  Mercy Yoder  lives in the mountains of Montana.  She   has to follow the  strict  rules of her Amish  Community.   She ends up having  to   decide  if  she will follow  the  Amish  boyfriend or follow the  Englisher who  lives in Eureka .  Mercy  has a kind and  caring  heart.  She  wants to   go out of her way for  those near to her.  She often  extends herself  in a way  that  hurts her in the end.   What  will happen to the people  when the fires hit  them in a  strong way and   hurt their  safety? This book   compares the  challenges  of the Amish life vs. the English life.   I was  given this book by the publisher , netgalley to read and review.  I am not obligated to  give a positive  review.   I hope the book is  very successful.

Aiming for Love by Mary Connealy

"Aiming for  Love   " (Bridges of  Hope  Mountain Book#1 ) by  Mary  Connealy  is a  Christian  Fiction book. Jo  Nordegren and her  sisters live in the  wild in  southern western Colorado.  They  have  learned how  to live off the land and protect themselves.  When  David  Warden   shows up with his herd and his family how  will    they    get along with   the Nordegren's?   This book  shows  how the Nodegren's  survived   living on the land.  The book is  creatively   written and  shows  what  life is like for  these people  .  I   liked the character  descriptions. I was  given this book from netgalley and the publisher to  read and review  this book.  I appreciate   the opportunity to read and review this book.  I  am not obligated to give  a positive  review. 

Strands of Truth by Colleen Coble

" Strands of Truth " by Colleen Coble is a suspence,  romance book   and  will leave  you hanging on  your  seat   on what is coming around the corner. Harper  Taylor   was a  foster child and  went from one home  to the next  . She    is looking   for  her mother's past and her  sister as well.   She  has to dig to find her  answers.   There is  suspense  with the cliffhangers in front of  Harper stopping her from moving forward.  Crime  activity abounds in this  book over and  over.  What  are the generational  secrets   that will come forward?  I enjoyed  the   ups and the downs of  each  phase of the book.   I  liked  Harper's  tenacity to find what  she  was  looking for  in her past  even though obstacles  kept coming her  way.  The  scenes are  well  described and  easy to follow.  I would  highly recommend this book.  I  am thankful to the publisher, netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book. "Be The Bridge Pursing God's  Heart  for Racial Reconciliation" by  Latasha Morrison   is  an important   book for our world.  We live in a world  within and outside the church with racial divisions.  I  commend Latasha  for starting the nonprofit   organization that  addresses   the racial divisions in our church and world. Latasha  speaks  all over  the US to address  the need for reconciliation. Be  The  Bridge  involves  small groups that  address  racial reconciliation  by  using  this book and developing   discussions within the group.  It is important   that we move   from racial divisions to racial reconciliation.   Will you be the bridge to our world?   This book was given to me by the publisher and netgalley to read and review.  I  am thankful for the opportunity to read and review this book. God's Hostage by Andrew Brunson

"God's  Hostage"  by  Andrew   Brunson is a true  story.  Andrew and His  wife  Norine    were asked by  their  mission organization to  go to  Turkey   as missionaries in 1993.  They  set up a church  and  also helped many refugees from  Syria.  They  often encountered people who had never  heard about  Jesus.  Many people there  did  not know how to become a Christian.  Many people in  Turkey are Muslim  and   the  Muslim  religion is  very  strong there. Their   work in Turkey always  put   them at  risk.  In  2016    Norine and Andrew were arrested.    Norine  was  released after  about 2 weeks.  Andrew  was held  for a longer  sentence.  He  encountered many trials while in prison. He  was  accused  of many   false  charges  ;such as,  being a spy,  of  starting a coup,  and  any other   possible charge  .  This  book is really inspiring .  How  did  Andrew survive   being in prison?  I  commend  Andrew for  sharing his story in this book.  I  know  it  was not easy

What if  God  has  other plans"  by  Charles  Swindoll   is a non fiction book.  Charles Swindoll is a  pastor and wrote  this book from  very successful  sermons. He   many   unexpected  issues  that  can turn our lives around.   Some of  these unexpected issues are: sudden loss,  betrayal, caring for a family  member with a disability and many other issues.  He   explained the issue in a very personal  way.  He     ties  scripture into the   issue to help  us  see  life from God's  perspective.   These  issues   can send us spinning and   wondering how to handle our lives.  He   gives  very personal and practical  examples  that  help  the reader  cope with their trials.  The   book is a great  resource for the Christian  facing  various  trials.  I appreciate the publisher and  netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book. "Always  Look Twice"  by  Elizabeth Goddard  is a Christian  Suspence   novel.  It is a the second book in the  Uncommon Justice  series. Harper  Reynolds  was a crime scene photographer but  decided to   take pictures of nature instead.  She  is  in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and observed a murder.  She took  pictures of what she saw. When  she  saw the murder   she left  the area quickly and  also lost her camera.   After she  reported the  murder  the sheriffs  started   searching for  the criminal. The  sheriff department  asked Heath McKade to protect her. Stitches in Time by Suzanne Woods Fisher

"Stitches in Time"  by  Suzanne Woods  Fisher is  an Amish fiction book.  It  is  part of the Deacon's  family series. Sam Schrock  is  a horse  trainer.   Mollie Graber is  new to  this  Amish  community.  She is a teacher.  She  wants  a new  start.   Sam's   brother   gets elected to be come deacon. Luke is married and  is a bit overwhelmed  by the challenges of becoming    deacon. There are lots of demands  on the deacon  in the Amish community. Praying the Names of Jesus by Tony Evans

"Praying the Names of Jesus"  by   Tony  Evans is a practical and personal devotional.The devotional   progresses in  alphabetical order.  It  starts out with a verses.  In the next  section  it  progresses to  adoration and what  that means with that name.   The  reader next  confesses  sin that goes with that name. After  that   there is  thanksgiving for how  Jesus is that name for us.  The  name ends with  supplication.   The  reader  asks for  prayer needs that fit  the name  they  are reading about.  We  can have a deeper and more connected relationship with  Jesus  by learning and applying  the meaning of His names to our life.  This  devotional is well written and practical.  Thank you to the publisher , netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.  I will  be sharing my review with  Amazon, facebook, CBD.com, my blog, Goodreads.  I  am hoping this book will  be  as helpful to others as it has  been to me.

Ingrid has a beautiful and strong Christian life. She has a strength and peace in her life even though she lost her father and has many other difficult odds to deal with. Out of  Zion"   is a  nonfiction book  by  Lisa  Brockman.  Lisa  was  raised a 6th generation    Mormon.  She  learned  all the  traditions and regulations  required  as  she grew up Mormon.  She   worked hard at  her classes and also was on the tennis team and  also  attended the Mormon church faithfully.   She  dated a guy  in college who was  Christian.  She   went through a  period where she questioned   her Mormon  beliefs.  She had trouble  getting her answers.  She  was not allowed or permitted to  question her beliefs. She   got  some books  to help her  with her  questions. One of the books  was  Beyond Mormonism.  She  also  attended  Campus  Crusade for Christ when she was in college. Over time  she  learned  the difference between  the Mormon vs  Christian beliefs. She   shared  the  differences  between  Mormonism and Christianity in her book. She also  shared how her life was  changed.  This book is  really insightful . It  helps the  reader understand the  Mormon
