This book is beautifully written .  It takes place during World War II.  The book is  fast moving and   once you start the book it is hard to   put it down until the last page. The emotional difficulties   are clearly   explained in this book.   The characters are caught off guard  when  World War II starts hoping   their lives will not be disrupted.  Eva is a musician and hopes to continue her   music lessons.  She is  disrupted when  Nazi  military men  show up  to turn   her life and others   there apart.  The book takes place in Hungary. The characters  draw  close to God when  they  face the  trials of World War II....

Some of her  books have become movies.   Stone Wall is  set in Strasburg.  , Pennsylvania.. Strasburg is  an Amish town which has  Old Amish  roots.  The Old Amish  were more traditional and did not use electricity  or  drive cars.  Anna the  main character  is kind and caring.
