Today is the release day for Raising Successful Teens by Jeffrey Dean. Jeffrey Dean is a teen and family culture expert,He has written twenty - five books and is also a pastor, motivational leader. He has a podcast for parents. This book is a wonderful resource for parents. He helps parents understand the difficulties teens face in our culture. He points to ways to keep communication open. He targets areas that can damage teens and alerts parent s to watch out for those areas. He discusses how to make dinner time meaningful.The book opens the parent to ways to have a better relationship with your teen. Jeffrey directs the parent in how to shape and guide their teens to walk with God and be more successful in dating, friendships, how to deal with the challenges of social media. He even discusses the more difficult topics of dating sex, porn and suicide. Raise them  Up  is  written by Sally Burke and Cyndi  Claypool de Neve. It is a nonfiction practical living book on prayer. The  book takes parents   topic by topic  to approach prayer  for their children. The   author  encourages parents to pray  scripture for their children.  Parents are encouraged to pray  boldly and openly  with God for with children.  We    are encouraged to be consistent as we pray for our children.   It is  very useful  and helpful   book for  any Christian parent.   Thank you to the author and  publisher , netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.   It is a rich resource.  I am not obligated to write a positive review.

Boy Mom is an excellent book. As a Mom is a teenage soon I felt like I was being mentored on how to parent him. The author approaches topic after topic in a practical and helpful way. The author has a website . She is a blogger and gives podcasts on helpful topics in regards to raising boys. She opens each chapter with a topic, ties it into scripture and Biblical principles. She closes each chapter with questions and gives a link to her website with other helpful information. She encourages parents to guide by example. She teaches parents how to lead their child in a relationship with the Lord. She give the link on how to have a relationship with the Lord. She tells the importance of manners and how they get help boys to have the right motives in life. Another issue she discusses is sibling challenges. The book takes place in Warsaw , Poland . The town is in a turmoil since the Germans have taken it over. Review for Core 52 by Mark E. Moore a Fifteen Minute daily guide to build your Bible IQ in a year Mark is a teaching pastor at Christ's Church of the Valley. in Phoenix, Arizona. He spent two decades teaching New Testament as a professor at Ozark Christian College. This book is a 15 minute plan to learn the Bible. It covers 52 topics with a weekly plan. It starts out with a question, then an article which includes more questions. At the end of the chapte r there are key points. There is a box after the key questions with a plan for each day for the week. The articles are well written and gives the reader a deeper understanding of key topics in the Christian life. The book is a great way to grow as a Christian. There are Bible passages in the daily assignments. This is a great resource for Christians. Yours Truly Thomas " is written by Rachel Fordham. Is is a romantic fiction book. The story takes place in 1883. Penny works at the Dead Letter office and reads mail that is sent . She had some attachment to some letters that came from Thomas and were written to Clara. The stories expressed how much He loved her and then Thomas stated that she died. Penny decided to write Penny back. Penny did not know him. In the meantime Thomas left for th e west to start a new life. He ended up on Azure Springs., Iowa . Penny decided to go to Iowa after losing her Dad and she needed a fresh start. Azure Springs is a small and personable town. Penny stayed in a boarding house run by Margaret. Margaret goes the extra mile to make sure her guests are cared for and relaxed. Penny treasured the way love was expressed in letters at that time.
